Tourism Advisory Board

The Tourism Advisory Board is established for the purpose of promoting tourism and supporting the industries within the city that directly affect tourism. The Tourism Advisory Board advises the Convention and Visitors Bureau on such matters as the administration of grant programs, advertising, and other activities for the promotion of tourism.

The board meets every fourth Tuesday of the month. All meetings are subject to the Open Meetings Act and accessible to the public.

Tourism Advisory Board Applications

The City of Victoria Convention & Visitors Bureau is currently seeking volunteers to fill two unexpired terms on the Tourism Advisory Board. Per the current bylaws, each of these two terms will expire on December 31, 2022. The link for the online application is below, followed by the board's bylaws. The applications will open Tuesday, July 27 at 12 Noon. The deadline to apply is Friday, August 20 at 5PM CST.

Currently, applicants must represent either the Lodging Accommodations Industry or the Attractions Industry.
