The dog park is scheduled to open in May 2023. The project is funded through the Victoria Sales Tax Development Corporation and through funds raised by Izzy Drane and Girl Scout Troop #9565.

Izzy, who passed away this year, partnered with the City of Victoria on the project and raised funds for dog agility equipment within the dog park as part of her Girl Scout Gold Award project.
